“The College of Menominee Nation is a small rural Tribal College in Northeast Wisconsin and was lacking technology and technical support when the COVID pandemic hit. The Menominee Tribal community and the surrounding communities were in need of factual information as it related to the pandemic.

Through funding from the CDC, Tashina was able to assist us in reaching out and providing education on the vaccination to community members which we were not otherwise able to offer on our own, by utilizing social media.

More specifically she provided marketing that was specific to the community and included many cultural aspects.

We also struggled to reach young people about the need to vaccinate and she created a marketing plan with online opportunities to reach that target audience and also provided the reporting/data to back it up.”
